Job description

This stand-alone subsidiary business forms part of a private organisation which is a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of technologically advanced LED lighting products and equipment that sell their products and solutions into a variety of Commercial & Industrial market sectors.
The organisation is now ideally positioned to enter a period of rapid & significant growth based on exploiting their new innovative products and now wish to recruit an exceptional "Head of Sales" whose principal task will be to substantially increase sales and earnings. This is an autonomous role offering real accountability and an opportunity for personal development i.e. "Sales Directorship" in an organisation with considerable growth potential.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the UK MD with P&L responsibility, this ‘hands on’ role will focus on maximising sales growth and profitability through exploiting new market opportunities with their enviable Lighting solutions.
With a strong order book for the next two years within the businesses core market you will be tasked with developing new product sales and applications via End Users, Landscape Architects, Developers, Retailers, Universities, Health Trusts, Port Authorities etc  throughout the UK.
You must provide clear leadership, not only in terms of strategic market direction and business planning but also in the overall management & development of the organisation.

Personal Credentials

  • A high performing Commercial Sales player with a background in sales and marketing ideally gained within a Lighting / Electrical building products environment you must have a track record of exploiting fully market potential and growth opportunities. This could be your 1st UK Management appointment.
  • You will be commercially astute, with exceptional communication and relationship building skills along with the ability to inspire and develop others in order to maximise performance and activity.
  • You must be entrepreneurial, ambitious and motivated with the ability to drive the business forward into this period of rapid growth with the capability to grow with the business as it develops throughout the UK......

Lighting Sales to End Users & Commercial leadership experience is a MUST!!
