E-Commerce Marketing Development Manager (EMEA) £65-70k Plus Bonus Plus Car / Allowance

Role Overview:

The position would be responsible for implementing the initial 3 year E-Commerce strategy, understanding the content required, and successfully delivering the budget assigned to E-Commerce. 
The right candidate will have the gravitas and knowledge to quickly gain the respect of Country marketing teams, peers and Country leaders and will develop key business relationships with external partners relating to the implementation of the E-Commerce strategy. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the initiator and the owner of the E-Commerce strategy on a regional level ( EMEA ) 
• Understand and drive a European harmonized approach to Pure online platforms like Amazon and more localised market relevant platforms
• Develop a sound recommendation on what the approach should be regarding the different e-commerce platforms (pure, brick and click, own web-shop), implement the plan on a regional level, working together with the Country teams.
• Monitor web analytics and internal data sources
• Design and Execute robust roadmaps surrounding approach to the different channels
• Incorporate and share Best Practices across EMEA markets
• Work closely both with technical (web development) and commercial teams (sales, marketing).
• Prepare reports and analyse conversion numbers, draw actionable conclusions based on them
• Work closely with Digital Marketing to develop SEO/PPC Strategy
• Willingness to travel internationally

Candidate Profile:

• Have a Bachelor or a Masters degree in Business Administration or Marketing
• English Language is a must and other European language is desirable.
• Have 5+ years of experience within a similar senior eCommerce role managing different activities and platforms in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
• Have broad experience in establishing and delivering successful Ecommerce business models, end-to-end eCommerce initiatives, from concept to execution to reporting and optimization
• Good business skill-set with a right balance between technical and commercial knowhow.
• Direct communication style and excellent collaboration skills.
• Flexible approach and cultural understanding is essential. 
• Proven track record of driving change, developing teams, and achieving goals.
• Must have a strong drive for results with a demonstrated “sense of urgency” and ability to get things done across functional boundaries.
• Must have experience in a matrix organization and proven team management skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and have strong organisational skills including effective communication and time management.
• Self-starter, able to succeed in a fluid and fast-paced work environment. Strong problem solving and leadership skills.
• Result-orientated with the ability to take actions and implement effective solutions in a timely manner and to get the best out of the teams and deliver quantifiable results.
• A detail-oriented person, able to see the big picture, excellent planning, execution and project-management skills.
• A team player and builder, receptive to ideas from others, with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact successfully with all levels of management as well as a diverse work force.
