UK Sales Director ( Commercial Washroom Products ) £70-85k Neg Basic Plus High OTE + Exec Benefits Package
Our client is a market leader in the field of water-saving commercial washroom products for specialist applications for the public sector markets. They are a fast growing, profitable and well run business, it can attribute its success to a long history of product innovation which has been driven by fast changing customer requirements and the ever increasing amount of building control regulations which focus on the dual need for environmental compliance and energy efficiency.
Reporting to the UK Managing Director, the successful candidate will be taking the lead in developing & driving the business strategy forward through the adoption of a well defined, segmented approach to the markets it serves.
The Role
This role will be pivotal in the development and implementation of growth strategies, including entry into new markets, for the brand portfolio. To that end, you will lead and have direct hands-on involvement in all major commercial activities for the core brands and will be responsible for creating a “route map” to achieve new growth objectives.
Your role is to formulate and implement a sales strategy that secures the achievement of revenue and profit objectives. Define, manage & measure sales team performance against KPIs. Identify new business opportunities whilst continuing to develop relationships with existing customers & channel partners. Motivate and lead the sales team so they are recognised as best in class both internally and externally. Contribute to the development of the business as a whole as an influential member of the board.
The Candidate:
Graduate calibre, board level experience. Can demonstrate a successful track record within a medium-sized £10-50m+ building products business. Branded product experience would be an advantage. Understanding of multi-sales channels is essential [distribution / specification / retail] Proven experience in growing & leading a national sales team. A skilled negotiator who is commercially astute, highly motivated and has first class presentation skills and personal gravitas.
