Regional Manager - South East (Electrical Wholesaling) £75k+ Neg Basic Plus High OTE + Car 


The purpose of this role is to manage and be accountable for a geographical area of trade branches to deliver top line sales and profit in line with company demands. In addition to this, you will have ownership for branch P&L's and KPI’s.

The Role:

•    To develop a sound customer base in line with the company’s KPI targets and values. The Regional Manager will be responsible for all financial aspects including forecasting, budgeting and cash collection.
•    To ensure that the Company Offer supports the customer base and area requirements to achieve sales and profit growth.
•    To negotiate and deliver enhanced supplier commercial terms for the area in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team.
•    To develop and manage a portfolio of multi-site customers across your region.
•    Identify and implement sales and margin opportunities with new and existing customers.
•    Ensure sales ownership across the area via the area sales managers and branch network.
•    Implement strategic planning with effective management of P&L’s, scorecards and KPI’s to achieve targets
•    Carry out regular branch visits, setting standards and objectives and overseeing operations to ensure branches meet all company policies and are compliant.
•    Ensure effective implementation of digital strategy initiatives at both area and branch level 

The Person:

•    Provide strong values-led leadership
•    Performance management of branch managers and setting clear objectives.
•    Succession planning and recruitment of key talent.
•    To ensure compliance for Health & Safety in the area
•    Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to assemble, energise and motivate an efficient team.
•    Ability to identify opportunities and to formulate strategies to ensure long-term success.
•    Ability to manage and develop a positive and productive branch network.
