Business Manager – (Data Enterprise Market) £60-68k+ Neg Basic plus High OTE + Car

The Role:

•    Creating the strategy and plan to develop and lead the business development within this focused market.
•    The strategy will include sourcing, pricing, technical, marketing and sales.

Sourcing:

•    Identifying product gaps and brands and working with targeted manufacturers to agree commercial terms and distributor agreements.

Pricing:

•    Create a pricing and margin strategy that is monitored and controlled to ensure the business meets key price points and achieves forecast margin levels.

Technical:

•    Proactively offering technical support to customers by utilizing the manufacturing brands technical support teams and resources. 

Marketing:

•    Identify and create a communications strategy focused on developing increased brand and company awareness and supported with a proactive promotional plan.

Sales:

•    Focused on pro-actively building customer relationships and business levels with new, dormant, and existing customers.
•    Forecasting, sales planning and proactively managing a CRM database.
•    Raising quotations, following up, and building a project pipeline. 
•    Building product and brand awareness with customers.

Forecasting & Reporting:

•    Creating and reporting on the financial performance of the business sector.
•    Forecasting sales and profit generation
•    Responsible for the P&L of the business sector

Skills Required:

•    Significant sales experience and proven track record of success, ideally in the data enterprise networking market.
•    Full product and market training will be provided, but it would be advantageous to have experience of the data enterprise networking market and the market dynamics that operate within.
•    Potential to develop into more wider functions within the business management team and supporting the General Manager.

Person:

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
•    A positive, hardworking, can-do attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
•    Dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success.
•    Customer service focused approach.
•    Experienced in Microsoft suite (excel/word/PowerPoint/Teams).

This is a management entry level role and as such, the successful candidate must be able to lead by example and pro-actively develop the business of this sector.
