Our client, a Manufacturer, based in the South East is looking for a  Senior Lighting Design Engineer with experience in working within manufacturing to join their team offering

(Hybrid working arrangements)

Key Responsibilities:

• To work in collaboration with the sales team to provide support and guidance on project design ensuring meeting required customer deadlines; namely in product recommendations, lighting requirements, detailed design calculations
• To provide a full range of both internal and external lighting calculations by applying Relux or Dialux.
• To provide lighting control designs based on lighting schemes.
• To deliver lighting and control layouts for projects through the application of AutoCAD.
• To accurately complete all relevant documents as and when required namely; take-offs, luminaire schedules, technical submittals, datasheets, and BREEAM documents.
• To adhere to customer, industry, and legal standards when producing all lighting designs.
• Support sales team on specialist projects as and when required.

Key Requirements to be considered for this role

• Indoor lighting design experience
• Demonstrable experience in using Relux / Dialux and Autocad
• Qualification within a design-related or electrical engineering course
• LIA qualification
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal to internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ability to work in an organised manner that enables the achievement of projects within a required timescale.
