Sales Manager - ( Retail Lighting Solutions ) £70k+ Neg Basic Plus High OTE + Car Allowance 

Overview

Our Clients, wish to recruit a Sector Sales Manager in order to grow their business throughout the UK. The Primary task is selling into Food and Non Food retailers throughout the UK focussing on opening new accounts with multiple retail operations. They are looking for a person with experience of selling into these types of customers with a technical / design solutions background...


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop sales of Lighting Solutions as follows:-
  • Specification sales to Retail lighting designers, Multiple retail groups, Architects, Specifiers and individual owners
  • Develop existing and new customer database
  • Provide technical and design support to customers as required
  • Initially 90% new business 10% existing
  • Sales Cycle 4 weeks to 6 months, average order size £12,000+
  • Actively develop new accounts for project and roll out sales
  • Assist with development of marketing (digital/direct mail, etc.) to target markets
  • Keep up to date with developments in markets and technology
  • Keep database of competitor activity

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Must have Field sales experience in similar market (3-5 years)
Knowledge of project sales and retail markets in the area
Technical engineering qualified or market / sector experience
Existing relevant contacts
Desirable
Electrical products/ lighting solution sales track record
