Key Account Manager £48k+ Neg Basic + Bonus Plus Car / Allowance
Reporting to the UK Sales Director, the primary purpose of this role will be to manage an established and develop a growing portfolio of regional strategic key accounts and target new business opportunities to deliver growth for the company.Your role will be to define and implement growth plans that deliver against customer expectations that result in above market growth rates year on year. You will work closely with targeted accounts, seeking to manage the biggest potential customers in your region. This will involve key Electrical Wholesalers, Electrical Contractors and End Users...
You will need to adopt a methodical approach, identifying key prospects, building relationships with key stakeholders within customer’s design, procurement and trade partners, tracking projects and progressing opportunities throughout the sales pipeline. You will get products specified and will be a solutions provider for your customers. You will position the company for growth with existing key channel partners.
Key responsibilities include: -
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with regional targets
- Support the development of new business within the region from a varied customer base – Wholesale/Distribution, Electrical contractors etc for lighting projects
- Manage and control negotiations with customers to ensure that product prices are maintained at levels which will enable the organisation's financial targets to be achieved.
- Continuously monitor and assess the market in order to identify new business opportunities and enhance/develop the customer base.
