UK Commercial Director - Berkshire (Manufacturing) £75k+ Neg Basic Plus Exec Benefits

The new role of Commercial Director will responsible for three core teams – Sales, Estimating and Project Management – with overall objectives of driving revenue growth raising the profile of the company and the brands within the industry and customer groups, maximising profit opportunities and positioning our service offer as a commercial proposition.

Key Accountabilities:

• As part of SMT, define and execute company strategy
• Meet annual company revenue target £10M +
• Build Annual Commercial Business Plan for MD approval
• Manage each of the Sales Team as a direct report (currently 8)
• Manage the Estimating/Bid Team
• Manage the Project Management Team, and develop as a Commercial function
• Maintain high profile customer interactions and provide thought leadership insights for key customers
• Represent the company in key industry organisations, networking and events (platform speaking, forums, etc) to further company goals
• Drive customer satisfaction with the goal of achieving repeat business
• Personal involvement to win large / complex projects and develop / maintain strategic customer relationships
• Thorough understanding of relevance of product mix to financial success
• Input to Marketing Strategy
• Work collaboratively across the company to promote excellent communication and comprehensive initiatives and solutions
• Drive improvements in Estimating/Bid process and materials to improve conversion rate
