Specification Sales Engineer (London) £48-55k+ Neg Basic Plus High OTE + Car

Key areas of responsibility:-

  • Grow specification sales of lighting control systems and components
  • Achieve sales targets set by the UK Sales Director & the Management Team
  • Maintain records relating to achievements, including, quotations issued, sales volume, projects closed, calls made, presentations completed, etc.
  • Measure the success rate of quotations and implement changes to improve conversion rates
  • Prepare and coordinate sales reports for the UK Sales Director
  • Help resolve any credit control issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, objectives and health and safety.
  • Ensure good relations are maintained with all Co’s customers in the United Kingdom.
  • Ensure excellent communication with clients and clients representatives to ensure the smooth and profitable execution of lighting control projects
  • Work with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth integration with any third party services
  • Attend monthly sales meetings for both sales and CSS teams
  • Maintain and expand the existing customer database
  • Attend industry exhibitions as and when appropriate both in the UK and overseas
  • Attend client events when required
  • Maintain accurate customer records in line with existing company and departmental procedures
  • Grow the Specification sales revenues via Developers, M&E Contractors, Lighting Designers, Main Contractors & M&E Consultants
  • Provide industry feedback on market trends
  • Management of effective time management to maintain productivity
  • Maintain Company CRM records
  • Achieve UK Sales and personal KPI’s

Key Actions

  • To achieve personal sales and profitability targets
  • To grow the specification business in line with UK Sales Strategy
  • To promote and sell the complete Systems product range to the market
  • To establish the brand as a preferred manufacturer for all lighting control projects and to create leverage for the components business where possible within these sectors
