Profit Centre Manager (Bedfordshire)
£55-70k+ Neg Basic + Stunning OTE + Car + benefits
A high-growth UK group is seeking a Profit Centre Manager to lead a £9m+ standalone business unit. This role offers full P&L ownership, high autonomy, and the opportunity to shape and scale a commercially driven operation. Job Purpose:
To lead, grow and optimise the Profit Centre, driving profitability, commercial development, operational excellence and strong team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full P&L responsibility- driving turnover, margin and operating profit.
• Set and deliver financial forecasts, tracking performance through KPIs.
• Lead sales growth and market development, expanding existing and new revenue streams.
• Build and manage senior supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, terms and annual agreements.
• Oversee operations, logistics, stock management and admin teams to ensure high service levels.
• Recruit, motivate and develop staff, particularly within the sales team.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant UK/EU regulatory requirements and maintain ISO standards.
Key Deliverables:
• Consistent year-on-year turnover and profit growth.
• Delivery of forecast commitments and operational KPIs.
• Strong supplier partnerships and increased market presence.
• High service levels including OTIF, accuracy and stock availability.
• A motivated, high-performing team with clear structure and accountability.

• Strong commercial & financial acumen with proven P&L experience.
• Track record of driving B2B sales growth.
• Strategic, analytical, detail-focused and commercially driven.
• Confident leader with strong coaching and development capability.
• Skilled negotiator with experience managing key relationships.
