Company Description: Our client is a leading National Electrical Wholesaler. They are looking for an individual with an Electrical Wholesale background and experience in leading and motivating a team and making all the key decisions to increase sales and profits.
Person & Skills Required:
- This role would suit someone that has proven success in the electrical wholesale industry or a similar trade products distribution business
- Good commercial acumen and a B2B background with a passion for success and building profitable sales
- An ambitious individual who can take advantage of the opportunities within the business to forge a successful career
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive and hardworking attitude with the ability to work under pressure
- Dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success
- Ability to oversee, influence, negotiate and close deals personally or by using a sales team
- Good leadership skills
- Customer focused approach
- Full UK Driving License
Key Responsibilities:
- To make all the key decisions and run the commercial operation with full autonomy and accountability
- Build and develop a motivated team who are hungry for success
- Identification and development of new business opportunities from new customers and dormant accounts
- Providing comprehensive training and development for team members
- Effectively recruiting new employees
- Ensuring that your team meets operational standards and that the branch operates efficiently whilst Identifying improvement opportunities
- Driving profitable sales
- Liaising with suppliers to secure the best commercial arrangements
