Job Description:
Our clients are seeking a visionary and dynamic Managing Director. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and inspirational leadership to all staff to drive the company's growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.
As the main point of communication between the parent company and group operations, the Managing Director will ensure alignment with the mission, vision, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and market competitiveness.

Lead and manage the Executive Leadership team and all staff, providing guidance and support.

Provide strategic advice to ensure an accurate view of the market and the company's future.

Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans for cost-effective operations and market development.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Maintain and grow key customer relationships at the highest level.

Communicate and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, business partners, and regulatory authorities.

Oversee the company's financial performance, investments, and business ventures.

Manage financial resources, budgets, and investments prudently.

Drive organisational change and transformation initiatives.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have an Engineering Degree in Electronic, Electric or Industrial Automation, has proven commercial leadership experience gained from within the MRO / Industrial Automation / Electrical industry, or from a closely allied sector such as components or sensor manufacturers.
A solid understanding of project management, combined with customer's orientation mindset is highly preferred. High problem-solving skills, bringing solution and opportunities to the table, and managing problems autonomously.
Industrial equipment (like pumps, motors, belts, lighting), Industrial consumables (like cable and electrical supplies), and maintenance supplies (like lubricants, gaskets, and repair tools).
