Job description
This stand alone subsidiary business forms part of a private organization which is a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of technologically advanced LED lighting products and equipment into a variety of Architectural/ Commercial market sectors.
The organization is now ideally positioned to enter a period of rapid & significant growth based on exploiting their innovative new products and now wishes to recruit an exceptional UK Commercial Leader whose principal task will be to substantially increase sales and earnings. This is an autonomous role offering real accountability and an opportunity for personal development in an organization with considerable growth potential.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the European CEO with P&L responsibility, this ‘hands on’ role will focus on maximizing sales growth and profitability through exploiting new market opportunities with this enviable Architectural Lighting offering.
With a strong order book for the next two years within the businesses core market you will be tasked with developing new product sales and applications via M&E Consultants, Architects, Lighting Designers & Contractors throughout the UK.
You must provide clear leadership, not only in terms of strategic market direction and business planning but also in the overall management & development of the organization.
Personal Credentials
A high performing Commercial MD with a background in sales and marketing ideally within a Lighting / Electrical building products environment you must have a track record of exploiting fully market potential and growth opportunities.
This could be your first General Sales Management appointment.
You will be commercially astute, with exceptional communication and relationship building skills along with the ability to inspire and develop others in order to maximize performance and activity
You must be entrepreneurial, ambitious and motivated with the ability to drive the business forward into this period of rapid growth with the capability to grow with the business as it develops throughout the UK.
Specification product ( lighting or similar ) experience is a MUST !
