SALES ADMINISTRATOR WANTED!! IMMEDIATE START!

Sales Administrator - £20-24K Basic


Our client is a global lighting manufacturer, who is now seeking a Sales Administrator to join their business. The right candidate will be confident, outgoing, strong work ethic, technically minded and able to work as part of a team. 
 

Key responsibilities & duties

  • To communicate in a professional manner with customers, by telephone and email and deal adequately with price, stock and other enquires.
  • To familiarise with the product ranges and fully understand products applications and characteristics
  • To process customers’ orders promptly and generate necessary documents to ensure that these are ready for warehouse staff to expedite
  • To deal with UK and overseas customers
  • To look at stock availability and raise works orders where necessary
  • To compile quotations and reports using Excel and the company IT system
  • To liaise with carriers to obtain quotes, arrange collections and track orders
  • Other duties as may reasonably be required, form part of this role

Work experience and skills

  • Good level of customer service experience and confident communication skills with the ability to resolve difficult situations
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise work and use own initiative
  • Polite and friendly telephone manner
  • Literacy, numeracy and organisational skills
  • Ability to learn new information quickly
  • Good level of computer literacy, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, strong Excel skills being essential
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Degree qualification preferred
