Job description

This stand-alone subsidiary business forms part of a private organisation which is a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of technologically advanced LED lighting products into Commercial & Industrial market sectors.
The organisation is now seeking to appoint a key individual whose primary task will be to exploit "demand creation" via End Users and key specifiers including ( M&E Consultants / Contractors) This is an autonomous role offering real accountability and an opportunity for personal development i.e. "Sales Management" in an organisation with considerable growth potential.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the UK MD with P&L responsibility, this ‘hands-on’ role will focus on maximising sales growth and profitability through exploiting NEW market opportunities with their enviable Lighting products.
With a strong order book for the next two years within the businesses core market, you will be tasked with developing new product sales and applications via End Users including the following sectors: Manufacturing, Education, Office, Health and Retail to name but a few throughout the UK.
You must be a proven sales professional with clear leadership potential not only in terms of strategic market direction and business planning but also in the overall management & development of the organisation.

Personal Credentials

  • A high performing Commercial Sales player with a background in sales and marketing ideally gained within a Lighting / Electrical building products environment you must have a track record of exploiting fully market potential and growth opportunities. This could be your 1st National appointment.
  • You will be commercially astute, with exceptional communication and relationship building skills along with the ability to inspire and develop others in order to maximise performance and activity.
  • You must be entrepreneurial, ambitious and motivated with the ability to drive the business forward with the capability to grow with the business as it develops throughout the UK......
