Lighting Solutions Manager (Northern Region) £48-55k Basic plus High OTE 

The role:

Due to continued expansion plans this premier lighting manufacturer seeks to appoint a 1st class lighting sales professional who will be tasked to gain and obtain specifications from M&E Consultants and Contractors throughout a well established region...

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a weekly diary of appointments/activities and forward to the National Sales Manager
• Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
• Visit Specifiers (and those that influence Specification) on a regular basis ensuring that they are updated on new products and are conversant with the product range and capabilities. As appropriate visit the site. Follow projects through from initial discovery to placement and completion of order.
• Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.
• Provide an after sales service, keeping in contact with the Specifier and Customer Support Team to ensure that if any issues arise they are dealt with in a timely fashion. Respond to customer requests promptly.
• Maintain an awareness of company products and of relevant sales techniques to ensure that the Lighting Solutions Manager role is carried out as effectively as possible.
• Submit a report on area activity, performance and Market Intelligence to the National Sales Manager each month.
• Ensure your area customer database is accurate and regularly reviewed.
• Liaise with the NSM regarding pricing issues or conditions of sale.
