This standalone subsidiary business forms part of a listed organisation which is a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of technologically advanced door entry / security products and equipment into a variety of Commercial & Industrial market sectors.
 
The organisation is now ideally positioned to enter a period of rapid & significant growth based on exploiting their innovative new products and now wishes to recruit an exceptional Sales Director, whose principal task will be to substantially increase sales and earnings. This is an autonomous role offering real accountability and an opportunity for personal development in an organisation with considerable growth potential.
 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director with full P&L responsibility, this ‘hands on’ role will focus on maximising sales growth and profitability through exploiting new market opportunities with their expanding security product offering.
With a strong order book for the next two years within the businesses core market you will be tasked with developing new product sales and applications into the Specification/ Commercial / Retail & Consumer DIY markets.
You must provide clear leadership, not only in terms of strategic market direction and business planning but also in the overall management development of the organisation.
 

Personal Credentials

A high performing business leader with a background in sales and marketing ideally within a security i.e. Fire Alarm /  CCTV / Access control / Door Entry building products environment you must have a track record of exploiting fully market potential and growth opportunities. This could be your first general management appointment
You will be commercially astute, with exceptional communication and relationship building skills along with the ability to inspire and develop others in order to maximise performance and activity
You must be entrepreneurial, ambitious and motivated with the ability to drive the business forward into this rapid period of growth with the capability to grow with the business as it develops throughout the UK and overseas.
