HR Manager (Hants) - £40K + Performance Bonus + Car allowance

Joining a highly dynamic and growing organisation our client is a specialist centre of excellence for the European group focused on lighting design, manufacturing and connected smart city solutions.
In this role you will be building and creating a centre of success where people can achieve their best and full potential. Ensuring the business is dynamically balanced both practically and digitally so they are in harmony to maximize the organisations strategic objectives.
 

Your contributions

  •  Create, contribute and develop the HR (Culture and Experience) programme in line with the strategic group objectives.
  •  Manage employee relation, including dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.
  •  Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills.
  •  Advise, guide and coach managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them to drive continuous improvement.
  •  Develop HR policy and procedures in line with group objectives and ensure that HR is an integral part of the business to drive a balanced combination of performance,
  • Collaboration and work-life balance while mitigating any disputes.
  •  Continue and improve the learning and development strategy.
  •  Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy to support the group's strategic directives.
  •  Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies to ensure that new and dynamic talent is balanced to the future strategies of the group.
  •  Support the recruitment process – this may include writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc.
  •  Carry out new starter on boarding process.
  •  Manage talent and succession planning.
  •  Continuous monitoring and reviewing of HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
  •  Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
  •  Support change management processes.
 

Engagement experience

  •  Proven HR generalist experience of three to five years is expected.
  •  Exceptional organisational and communication skills is required together with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
  •  Proactive team player with strong customer centric and problem solving skills.
  •  Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change and the proven drive to create a new HR dynamic/culture.
  •  Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.
  •  A highly motivated Self-starter, able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team.
 

Professional Knowledge

Applicants must have a good standard of education up to Degree level and be CIPD qualified (ideally MCIPD level).
