This stand-alone business forms part of a listed organisation which is a market leader in technologically advanced Energy and Carbon Management Solutions that provides turnkey solutions to a wide variety of Commercial & Industrial market sectors.
 
The organisation is now ideally positioned to enter a period of rapid & significant growth based on exploiting their innovative new products and services and now wishes to recruit an exceptional COO, whose principal task will be to substantially increase sales and earnings. This is an autonomous role offering real accountability and an opportunity for personal development in an organisation with considerable growth potential.
 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO with P&L responsibility, this “hands on” role will focus on maximising sales growth and profitability through exploiting new market opportunities with this environmentally advantageous (Lighting Solutions / Energy Services) offering.
With a strong order book for the next two years within the businesses core market you will be tasked to develop a new strategic business plan combined with the management of the sales force to ensure the teams are clearly focused upon retention, new business growth and selling the companies (LaaS) energy services capabilities.
 
You must provide clear leadership, not only in terms of strategic market direction and business planning but also in the overall management development of the organisation.          
 

Business Credentials

A high-performance business leader with a background in sales and marketing ideally from an energy / building solutions environment, you must have a track record of exploiting fully market potential and growth opportunities.
You will be commercially astute, with exceptional communication and relationship building skills along with an ability to inspire and develop others in order to maximise performance and activity.
You must be entrepreneurial, ambitious and motivated with the ability to drive the business forward into this rapid period of growth with the capability to grow with the business as it develops across the UK and throughout Europe.
