Business Development Manager ( Smart / IOT Solutions ) £55k Neg Basic plus £15k+ OTE + Car / Allowance
Our clients are looking for someone who is ready to progress and challenge the status quo and take a role that is true Business Development. They want someone who can spot opportunities and deliver to customers with excitement. With exposure to 15+ industry leading vendors, technology experts and best in class technical support, means that this role is perfectly positioned to allow someone to grow with the business they own and develop.Responsibilities:
- To own, develop and profitably grow the organisation's IoT & Analytical Solution to hit quarterly targets.
- Strategic planning and commercial awareness are key.
- Prospecting customers and qualifying leads, pitching and presenting, and working with our technical resources are all contributing factors to this role.
- You will need to work collaboratively with multiple sales teams and manage and facilitate multiple key vendors.
What they require:
- Dynamic, approachable and energetic individual to join our established team of business development managers.

- ability to successfully develop business
- This is a target led role where targets will be set quarterly, so resilience and objection handling are key.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal will be essential.
- Communication and people skills are also important aspects of the job. The person fulfilling this role should be self-starting, competitive, imaginative, direct, influential, persuasive and self-confident. Independence, mobility, activity, pace and authority are also factors which could be important to this position.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a sales role. You will need to be able to demonstrate how you can develop and execute on sales plans.
- Experience with a "Next Generation" technology would be advantageous, but not essential.
