  • Owns a regional Sales target.
  • Sells, with minimal supervision, the  BMS Solution offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners and/or their representatives (including FM Companies) to reach optimal profit levels. 
  • Manages multiple, ongoing, sales prospects particularly focusing on selling Energy Services solutions. Regularly liaises with the Service Operations Team to ensure resources and capabilities are in place to satisfy incoming order commitments and any new sales leads are actioned in a timely manner. Provides detailed forecast information to the BDD on a regular basis in accordance with requirements. ( service contracts )
  • Develops a network of contacts with building owners and/or their representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the service sales of BMS offerings. Actively listens, probes and identifies concerns. Understands the customers’ business and speak their language. Demonstrates technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
  • Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with multiple prospective customers in an assigned geographical area. Liaises with Product Sales & Project Execution to ensure all sales leads are actively pursued at the earliest opportunity and progress recorded within CRM.
  • Understands and leverages the sales process and demonstrates evidence of gaining small trial closes. Shares technical knowledge plus operations expertise with the customer to match the solution to the customer's operational need and favourably position other business segments.
  • Addresses customers’ operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. Recommends New & or maintenance solutions and links customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage. Differentiates the Co's services from competitors based on business benefits.
  • Positively and credibly influences service strategies with End Clients - Owners/FM Companies. Frequently creates competitive, high quality and timely estimates, proposals, and cost/benefit analysis. Effectively writes, presents and communicates proposals in accordance with company procedures. Negotiates value, addresses resistance and closes the sale. 
  • Utilises applicable sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity in the assigned geographical area. Leverages Co's sales process to close sales quickly. Manages the high activity of the pipeline in CRM with a focus on sales phase, close date, and probability of a close as well as other pertinent information.
  • Solicits support from and communicate effectively with the Service Operations Team. Develops relationship with centralised support staff to exceed customers' expectations. 
 

 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as company representative and liaison to customers to capitalise on sales opportunities, foster successful relationships and positive Co. image.
  • Tracks competitor activities, products, systems, prices, reports and recommends changes and improvements to management when appropriate.
  • Work closely with the all areas of the business to achieve profitable growth through implementation of service strategies that expand Co's business.
  • Be contractually and commercially aware of the Company’s position at all times.
  • Be flexible and willing to work additional hours in order to meet sales deadlines or as needs dictate.
  • Complete appropriate Company documentation e.g. expenses and holiday forms in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure that all equipment issued by the Company is maintained in good condition and kept secure.
  • Attend personal training programs, as required.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management, as required.
