Key Account Manager (London Region) £65k Neg Basic Plus High OTE
Reporting to the sales director the role will be focused on obtaining new specifications for lighting products with contractors, M&E consultants, lighting designers, architects and interior designers.
There is an existing contact list to manage and a number of “live” projects at varying stages to take on and progress.
To fulfil the role you will need to carry out the following tasks;
- Lead Generation – Develop new leads via existing databases and direct sales strategies.
- Sales visits (Existing) - ensure existing customers and contacts are kept updated with regular visits to showcase new product and developments and to network fully to maintain dialogue on new potential projects.
- Sales visits (new) – maintain a good level of new customer contacts through proactive sales approach and undertake company and product presentations. Presentations need to be professional and informative and generate contacts for future discussions.
- Networking – via all available means such as LinkedIn, professional events, exhibitions, and networking clubs to maintain a level of dialogue with likeminded people within the industry to seek further opportunities.
- Reporting – report progress during sales meetings and at other times as required. Update CRM software and forecast spreadsheets as directed on a regular basis.
- Feedback – give timely feedback on products and services as well as other industry information to assist in improving the brand within the industry.
Primary Objectives:
- To increase the volume of project sales within London and to achieve agreed sales targets.
- To develop the customer base within London region.
- To develop market presence for the Company
