The successful candidate will be totally responsible for all technology in use in the UK business and for the overall development of the strategic technology roadmap.

The Role:

• Responsible for the day to day management of the IT services platform and team lead
• Delivery of UK IT vision, services, development and support to UK operations
• Assess IT platform requirements and implement where necessary actions to build a robust IT department covering Service Desk & Infrastructure support, Business Systems, e-Commerce & Technical Integrations, and Master Data Management resources.
• Lead the design and implementation of strategic systems projects.
• Ensure the alignment of IT services to the business strategy through key UK stakeholder management
• Ownership of relationship with all IT suppliers (Systems and Infrastructure)
• Responsibility for e-Commerce and Master Data.
• Contributing to and influencing the wider Group IT strategy.
• Part of UK senior management team - contributing to and helping with the delivery of the UK business strategy
• Report to the UK MD on all strategic IT resources and development

Key requirements:

• Strong leadership and line management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of business operating processes.
• Technical solutions architecture, software design and development.
• Delivery of large scale projects and programmes to tight timescales.
• Extensive technical skills developing software
• Hands on knowledge of the Kerridge K8 and Rev7 ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
