Full description:

  •   Commercially qualified accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
  •    Commercial/financial experience in a commercial services/contract environment
  •    Professional, committed, Pro active, innovative and has integrity.
  •    Strong Communication with internal and external customers.
  •    The ability to communicate and work effectively with operations, suppliers and teams at all levels.
  •    Essential to work in a well-organised and orderly manner.
  •    Numerate, accurate and confident and have the ability to work on own initiative
  •    Ability to prioritise workloads.
  •    A high focus on accuracy.
  •    A clear understanding of the need for confidentiality.
  •    A high level of computer literacy, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  •    High level of focus on the achievement of targeted results.

Provision of a Commercial Financial framework in order to measure, drive and protect contract performance, ensuring that business processes are conducted and correct in accordance with corporate policies and in a way which protects and enhances the image and reputation of the Company. Taking a personal responsibility in the financial performance of the business.
 

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Motivate the Commercial Team within your area of responsibility.
  • Review and continual improvement of the wider Facilities Solutions Commercial procedures, processes and working documentations.
  • Optimizing the Working Capital element
  • Continually monitoring, searching and communicating around opportunity and risk, driving the team to convert the opportunities and mitigate the risk.
  • Detail understanding commercially of the contracts, working to optimize profit and protect the Company from any Commercial/Partner/ or Internal risks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate production of financial month end GP results and forecasts
  • Analysis of the results to highlight risks and opportunities
  • Development and execution of actions to improve commercial performance
  • Proactive management of the billing process and cash collection
  • Build strong and influential relationships within the assigned regions and respective clients by providing a value added service
  • Manage the GP budget planning process
  • Be the Contractual Expert for the contract
  • Support in contract negotiations
  • Calculation of all accruals and prepayments
  • Create, maintain and enforce policies and procedures to manage commercial risks
     

General Task:

  • Actively identify all significant contract Risks and Opportunities, prioritising activities to secure opportunities and mitigate risks, keep business fully informed and aware.
  • Support & Back up to Commercial Director & all stakeholders within the division.
  • Manage Intercompany Reconciliation and Inter-company relationship development programs
  • Assist in management accounts review and analysis in accordance with strict reporting timescales
  • Assist in preparing of management accounts information.
  • To perform any ad-hoc duties at the discretion of the Commercial Director.
