Northern Regional Sales Manager - (Lighting) £70k+ Neg Basic + High OTE + Car
Our clients, a Global player withinthe LED lighting sector, now wish to recruit an exceptional Sales Manager, whose principal task will be to substantially increase sales and earnings. This is an autonomous role offering real accountability and an opportunity for personal development in an organisation with considerable growth potential.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director with P&L responsibility, this “hands on” role will focus on maximising sales growth and profitability through exploiting new & existing market opportunities with the brief to lead / develop with in house design capability the new range of environmentally advantageous LED lighting product offering consisting of lamps and fixtures.
With a strong forward order book for the next two years within the businesses core market you will be tasked to develop a new strategic business plan combined with the management of the sales force to ensure the sales team are clearly focused upon retention, new business growth and selling the companies lighting capabilities via Trade and Specification channels.
You must provide clear leadership, not only in terms of strategic market direction and business planning but also in the overall management & development of the organisation.
Business Credentials
A high performance business leader with a background in sales and marketing ideally from a lamps or luminaire solutions environment, you must have a track record of exploiting fully market potential and growth opportunities.
You will be commercially astute, with exceptional communication and relationship building skills along with an ability to inspire and develop others in order to maximise performance and activity.
You must also be entrepreneurial, ambitious and motivated with the ability to drive the business forward into this rapid period of growth with the capability to enhance the business as it develops across the UK.
