Contractor Sales Manager - Based South East (UK) £60-68k Neg Plus High OTE + Car & Bens

Overview:

This stand alone subsidiary business forms part of an international organisation which is a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of technologically advanced lighting products and equipment that sell into a variety of Commercial & Industrial market sectors.

The organisation is now ideally positioned to enter a period of rapid & significant growth based on exploiting their innovative new products and now wishes to recruit an exceptional Contractor Sales Manager, whose principal task will be to substantially increase sales and earnings. This is an autonomous role offering real accountability and an opportunity for personal development within an organisation with considerable growth potential.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Divisional Director with budget responsibility, this ‘hands on’ role will focus on maximising sales revenue and profitability through exploiting new & existing market opportunities with their environmentally advantageous product solutions.

With a strong order book for the next two years within the businesses core market, you will be tasked to penetrate new and existing clients and manage a specialist team which will focus upon Main Contractors & M&E Contractors, and all decision makers within the relevant channel.

You must provide clear leadership, not only in terms of strategic market direction and business planning but also in the overall management & development of the organisation.

Personal Credentials:

  • A high performing business leader with a background in Sales and Marketing ideally within a specified building products environment you must have a track record of exploiting fully market potential and growth opportunities. This could be your first man management appointment.
  • You will be commercially astute, with exceptional communication and relationship building skills along with the ability to inspire and develop others in order to maximise performance and activity…!
  • You must be entrepreneurial, ambitious and highly motivated with the ability to drive the business forward into this rapid period of growth with the capability to grow with the business as it develops throughout the UK.
