ASM REQUIRED FOR INDUSTRY LEADER - KEY SALES AREA!

Area Sales Manager (West Midlands)  £35-40k Neg Basic + High OTE + Car

The person:

Applications are invited for experienced sales professionals who will be responsible for developing sales of the company’s products throughout their designated territory; you will need a history of successful field sales in the electrical marketplace selling via Electrical Contractors & Wholesalers. You will be expected to account manage existing customers to maximise their potential and also identify and develop new customers within your region which will include independent & National Wholesaler partners and in turn support electrical wholesaler partners with a "push/ pull" via contractors to achieve area sales targets. A technical background would be desirable although not essential.

Responsibility:

•  Develop & maintain an effective stockist / distributor network and work with distributor partners to increase stock purchasing and help create a “push/pull” business stream
•  Identify suitable project opportunities
•  Develop & maintain strong relations with area based end users and contractors
•  Monitor the progress of projects from conception to completion
•  All of the above must be done whilst recording all sales / project activity using the company’s CRM system
•  Attend exhibitions and events where required to showcase products and services
•  Develop and maintain relationships at all levels with key personnel, especially the Principal, Buyer and Sales teams
