Area Sales Manager (Electrical Wholesaling) £35k+ Neg Basic + Car + High OTE

The Role:

• Implementation of the UK sales plan in your designated sales territory
• Research and identify potential new customers
• Manage and develop an existing account base of electrical contractors and installers, to enable increased profitability and margin
• Partner with local branches to enhance business growth
• Engage with colleagues, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to improve technical knowledge
• Monitor and review personal performance against agreed sales plans and critical metrics, taking prompt and appropriate action to correct any shortfalls in performance
• Provide management with required reports, information and feedback in agreed formats, within agreed timeframes. This includes daily completion of own diary and records in order to maintain full visibility of business activity.

The Person:

• Shown experience of winning new customers through identifying new prospects, initiating contact and then winning new business
• Strong existing customer relationships are relevant for this role as they are looking for individuals who can bring market share
• Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in achieving sales and financial targets
• Whilst it is not essential it would be advantageous to have experience of working within a business to business or electrical wholesale environment
• Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record and show the achievement of financial objectives and targets
• Well-developed negotiation skills, commercial acumen and awareness
• Good communication and social skills, including the ability to deliver professional presentations
• Ability to analyse own business and sales performance
